Naproxen-containing products such as naproxen tablets, naproxen delayed-release tablets and naproxen sodium tablets, and other naproxen products should not be used concomitantly since they all circulate in the plasma as the naproxen anion. Tell your healthcare provider about all of the medicines you take, including prescription or over-the-counter medicines, vitamins or herbal supplements. NSAIDs and some other medicines can interact with each other and cause serious side effects. Do not start taking any new medicine without talking to your healthcare provider first.
Treximet is used to treat headaches. It will only treat a headache that has already begun. Treximet will not prevent headaches or reduce the number of attacks. Constipation; diarrhea; dizziness; drowsiness; gas; heartburn; nausea; stomach upset; vomiting. Take orally with a full glass of water; take with food or milk if stomach upset occurs.
